Enhance your skills with a 2 hour AOBFP-approved Hands-On Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment session taking place on FRIDAY, November 6th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The sessions will be held in the WVSOM OPP lab located in Lewisburg.
The OMT Session cost is $100 for 2 hours of AOBFP-approved Hands-On OMT Credit sponsored by the WV Chapter of the ACOFP. WVOMA will be sponsoring the AOA Category 1-A CME Credit.
These sessions are designed to help meet the osteopathic continuing board certification requirement. The West Virginia Chapter of the ACOFP has developed and is Co-Sponsoring the hands-on sessions with WVOMA.
Learning Objectives:
1. Discuss the history of lymphatic techniques and Chapman Reflexes.
2. Discuss the proposed mechanism of lymphatic techniques.
3. Discuss the associated anatomy that is necessary for the application for osteopathic treatment.
4. Discuss indications and contraindications of osteopathic technique
5. Explain principles and rational to a treatment sequence for osteopathic lymphatic treatment.
